Can I have a customer code for when I check out?

If you were given a customer code, enter it here and click "Submit".

This is a shopping cart default for sale or discount codes.  We currently do not have the ability for customers to login to an account and retrieve saved information.  We are investigating this option for the future.

Can I have a phone number to contact customer service?

In order to give you the lowest prices we can, we do not hold official office hours and our means of communication is via email.  If you prefer phone correspondence you will be better served using a company who chooses this method.  You can email us at customerservice@cricketsonline.com anytime of the day or night.  We do our very best to answer emails within 24 business hours.

Can I call Top Hat Cricket Farm for customer service?

Please DO NOT call Top Hat Cricket Farm with questions, comments, or complaints.  While you are being shipped crickets direct from the farm, the offices of Crickets Online and Top Hat Cricket Farm are not the same and Top Hat employees are unable to provide assistance to a Crickets Online customer.  If you prefer phone correspondence you will be better served using a company who chooses this method. You can email us at customerservice@cricketsonline.com anytime of the day or night.  We do our very best to answer emails within 24 business hours.

Can I set up a monthly or weekly order which ships automatically?

Absolutely!  We have weekly, every other week, every third week, and monthly automatic shipments available.  We require a current credit card on file and ask that the order does not change frequently. Please email us for options.

I was home and UPS/DHL didn't even knock and left my packge at the door (in my garage, etc)! What do I do?

We understand that the shipping carriers often do not stop and wait for a signature when delivering to residential addresses.  We suggest you talk to your driver and/or put a note on the door prior to delivery which states that you are expecting a LIVE shipment and are REQUIRED to sign/accept in person in order to have a LIVE GUARANTEE.  Most drivers will knock and wait for you to answer the door, however, they are not required to do so by their companies.

We provide a tracking number for every shipment so you can know what day to expect your package.  On the day you are expecting your live shipment, check the tracking information and your front door (or wherever your delivery carrier leaves your shipments) frequently for delivery.  If you are home and the delivery carrier has left your shipment without knocking we will make an exception to this requirement provided we receive an email within one hour of the delivery.

It's freezing and my crickets are dead. What do I do?

If you receive a shipment  which appears to be dead during the cold season, please follow our winter warm up procedure immediately upon delivery.  Crickets are cold blooded and will take on the temperature of their surroundings. Under most circumstances the crickets will be able to be warmed from this cold/dormant state.

  • Remove crickets from the shipping box(es) immediately upon delivery.  DO NOT leave inside the cardboard boxes in a warm room.  The boxes act as an insulator and the crickets are not warmed fast enough.
  • Place your crickets in their holding tank.  Spread them around so they are not in one heap.
  • Place a heating pad under and/or a heat lamp over the holding tank.
  • Warm them up for a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Provide plenty of FRESH WATER.
  • Under most circumstances the crickets should revive from their cold state.
